In case of later cancellation, a cancellation fee of 500kr will be deducted. However, you can change your course free of charge to another session with the same price, subject to availability. Throwing vases with long necks, pulling handles, and constricting the clay
Join master Stefan Andersson's knowledge and techniques, as well as skilled ways of teaching in this two-day workshop. This time we focus on vases with long necks and learn all about how to constrict the clay. The workshop is practical, and Stefan's demonstrations are interspersed with personal work and individual guidance.
Everyone has their own potter's wheel throughout the course. The group consists of a maximum of 15 participants.
The course fee includes:
- 6kg stoneware clay (after that 50kr/kg)
- Coffee/tea and snacks after lunch
- Bisque firing of 2 pieces
- Drejverkstaden's fine and durable shopping bag
- Opportunity to leave your work clothes and shoes over the weekend
Prerequisites
You need to be able to lift a cylinder about 15-20cm high as well as have the willingness to dive into throwing techniques.
Sustainable materials
In the courses, we work with stoneware clay from Witgerts. At Drejverkstaden, we are very mindful of the environment and work in everything we do according to a sustainability plan. The clays we purchase therefore come as much as possible from Witgerts, which has a strong environmental policy.
