Session 1: Demonstration of centering and throwing
Session 2: Demonstration of throwing
Session 3-5: practice and demonstration of various techniques
Session 6: Glazing
The teaching mainly consists of practical work under the guidance of the course leader. Everyone has their own pottery wheel throughout the course. We follow the current pandemic law regarding the number of people per square meter in our premises.
Sustainable materials
In the courses, we work with two different stoneware clays. The advantage of stoneware is that the fired product is very durable and that the glazes are more environmentally friendly. At the Pottery Workshop, we are very mindful of the environment and work in everything we do according to a sustainability plan. The clays we purchase come from Witgerts, which has a strong environmental policy. We strive to mix lead-free glazes and natural colorants, such as blue clay, terracotta, etc., as much as possible.
Where
In the fine course facilities of the Pottery Workshop at Holländargatan 33, Stockholm.
