Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 9 AM to 3 PM (Lunch break in the middle of the day. Lunch is not included)
Booking and registration: Full refund applies within 14 days (according to the right of withdrawal law) from the date of payment. In case of later cancellation, a cancellation fee of 500 SEK will be deducted. However, you can change your course free of charge to another session with the same price, subject to availability. The last cancellation day to receive the remaining amount as well as to switch to another course is 7 days before the course starts.

 
Throwing on the wheel and production throwing

Join master Stefan Andersson's knowledge and techniques, as well as skilled ways of teaching in this two-day workshop. This time we focus on throwing on the wheel.

The workshop is practical, and Stefan's demonstrations are interspersed with personal work and individual guidance.

Everyone has their own potter's wheel throughout the course. The group consists of a maximum of 14 participants.

The course fee includes:

  • 6 kg stoneware clay
  • Coffee/tea and snacks after lunch
  • Bisque firing of 2 kg if desired
  • Drejverkstaden's nice and durable shopping bag
  • Opportunity to leave your work clothes and shoes over the weekend

Prerequisites

You need to be able to center one kilogram of clay and have the desire to dive into throwing techniques.

Sustainable materials

During this course, participants will be able to choose from 4 different stoneware clays with 25% chamotte (0-0.25). Antrachite 116sf, Salt and pepper 31 sf, 11sf lava clay from Witgert as well as 254 from Georg & Schnider. At Drejverkstaden, we are very mindful of the environment and work in everything we do according to a sustainability plan. The clays we purchase come as much as possible from Witgert, which has a strong environmental policy.
