Collection: Marion Sanson

After obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Graphic design two years ago, I decided to leave my home country France, to live abroad and experience something else. I had one passion in mind that I wanted to pursue. I have always been passionate about raw materials, textures and crafts. It was a dream to learn pottery and over the course of many applications to find an internship, it was finally Stockholm that opened its arms to me. I got the opportunity to immerse myself in Drejverkstaden and learn the ins and outs of throwing.

I met many ceramists who all had their own methods of throwing and their own vision of apprehending the clay. I was therefore enriched by all this diversity and I was able to learn a lot of creation techniques to make pots of all kinds. I am still driven by all the knowledge I keep on learning about this craft and how I can improve my throwing skills. Therefore I have the chance to be able to keep working at Drejverkstaden and I am very excited to share the passion of throwing with others.
