You will also be shown how to throw cups, bowls, jars, throwing on the wheel, and candlesticks - high, low, large, and small. We will also learn about kneading, recycling, testing porcelain clay, and other aspects of the ceramic process. Depending on your skill level, we will help you further develop. The clays we purchase mainly come from Witgerts, which has a strong environmental policy. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eIn the courses, we only work with stoneware clays. The advantage of stoneware is that the fired pieces are very durable and that the glazes are more environmentally friendly. We strive to mix the glazes as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible. We pre-rinse all our glazing tools and thereby recycle all glaze residue particles, which in turn become a new glaze.
